Service and Prices

I am a recognised doula with Doula UK.

I charge £500 plus milage at 40p per mile.

Please contact me to discuss prices further as my charges can be adjusted to meet your needs if necessary.

Included in the price:
I offer an initial meeting free of charge to help you decide whether you wish to proceed.
2 antenatal visits and 2 post natal visits plus unlimited telephone calls and email contact.
24 hour call out from your 38th week until the baby arrives.

Help preparing your birthplan; Helping you present any questions or conserns to your midwife/consultant and any other non-medical support you would like.

All my Doula clients get free use of my hexagonal birth pool if they wish, (Subject to availability.) and access to my books and articles on birth and breastfeeding.

Post nataly, I usually bring you a home cooked meal! I can do minor domestic chores, watch your baby while you sleep or have a bath, look after siblings or tend you in any way you would like - just sitting and sharing some time together is often what clients value.

For an aditional cost:

I can help you prepare for the birth of your baby by organising your "Baby Shower" or "Mother Blessing"; Helping you with "Belly-art" or "Pregnancy casting".

Most local Doulas are in touch with each other and as such we all offer our services if we can, to help each other if one of us cannot attend a client for any reason.

Payment:

I can tailor a payment plan to meet your needs if necessary but generally speaking I ask every client to pay a deposit of £200 on signing of a contract and then ask for a further £200 to be paid a month before your due date. The remainder is requested after the last post natal visit.

As a member of Doula UK I offer my services for free in accordence with their "Hardship Fund" policy. Please contact me for further advice.
